Deal Breakdown of April 4, 2011 Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS

I had a great trip today considering all that I used were coupons from past papers and printables...I will have to go back out to at least two of these stores tomorrow when I get my papers!!

Rite Aid:
2 Physicians Formula Bronzers (Normally $11.95-$13.95)---> side note this is amazing make up and I highly recommend it...especially since its FREE
2 Polygrip (On Sale 1.99)

I used
(2) $5/1 physicians formula...please let me know if you would like this coupon and I can get it to you!!!
(1) $2/10 Green Products (riteaid.com-video values)
(2) FREE Polygrip (what is cool about this is that I can doing a rebate and get $2 back for each polygrip I got even though I paid nothing!!
(1) $3/15 purchase from a survey I did (found at the bottom of every Rite Aid receipt)
MY TOTAL: $0.00 ----that's right, I didn't even pay tax!!! :D

Walgreens:
This was a weird trip and i'm not sure that my figures will be completely right but i'll do the best I can. I started out with $12 Register Rewards.
I got:
5 Purex Laundry detergent
2 Airwick Freshners
4 Marshmellow candies
2 6oz Colagate Toothpastes
2 Ukotex Tampons

I split this up into two transactions

Transaction #1:
2 Purex (sale price of $1.99)
1Colgate: (2.99 get $2.99 back in RR)
2 Ukotex Tampons$2/7 and get back $3 RR
2 Marshmellow candies(.29 each)

I used:
(2) $1/1 Purex
(2) $1/1 Ukotex

Paid with $6 register rewards and still had to pay $10.22 some change out of pocket (hang in here with me this gets interesting)
Got back $6 Register rewards (good example of rolling rewards)

Transaction #2:
3 Purex (sales price of $1.99)
1 Colgate (2.99 get 2.99 back in RR)
2 airwick(2/$5)
2 marshmellow candies

I USED:
(3) $1/1 Purex
(1) $1/1 Walgreen Coupon
(2) $1/1 Airwick mfr coupon and would have use the GET A FREE WARMER coupon had my store been stocked...but of course they weren't!

MY TOTAL WAS LIKE $23  dollars and I was really confused but paid anyway...I used $10 rewards which normally I wouldn't do but I was kinda upset with my total...this is alot of money for a couponer.I still had to pay $11.98

I didn't get ANY register rewards back...so i'm like dang this was a bad trip...get to my car and realize..I SHOULD have at least gotten $3 back from the toothpaste deal so as I was going in to talk to the manager I noticed that I was charged $4.99 for all 5 purex and THAT'S why my total was as much as it was...I didn't realize that the sales price of $1.99 was only good with the in-ad coupon so then he refunded me all of my money back for those which was 21.52..this money he refunded me back also included what I had paid with my register rewards... SO I walked out of there paying .32 for it ALL--NOT A BAD TRIP!

oh and I still got my $3 register reward that did not print and have $5 to spend on my next trip still whoohoo!!

CVS:
I got:
(2) Right Guard Body Wash (1 For $3.88 get back $3.00 is rewards)
(1) Gold Bond body wash ($5.88 get back $3 in rewards)
(1) Gum EZ floss picks($2.00 get $2.00 back in rewards)
(1) John Frieda Full Body Shampoo(2/$10, buy $10 worth and get $3 in rewards back)
(1) John Frieda Ful Body Conditioner
(1) Multiprpose contact solution (8.99 get 8.99 back)

I used:
(1) Buy 1 get 1 free Right Guard
(1) $2/1 Gold Bond
(2) $2/1 John Frieda Full Body
$17 Register Rewards
Got it all for $9.87! (This is where I bought 2 drinks and paid like $4 for this and it is not included in this total, therefore my calculations may be a little off but this is around this price.
I hope these deal breakdowns are helping you guys understand how I am using my coupons..let me know if you have any questions!!
